Michelle Grutman is a case manager in the New York City office of Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors.

Ms. Grutman previously worked as a Senior Asbestos Litigation Paralegal for Maune Raichle Hartley French & Mudd, LLP in New York with extensive work on various trials.  Prior to that, she was a Research Assistant for John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York.  Ms. Grutman received her Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies and a Master of Arts in International Crime and Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Ms. Grutman is also co-author of the brief “Policing Crisis Situations.” Published by SpringerBriefs in Criminology in 2023, the brief examines steps police can take to lessen the potential for disaster, improver preparedness for disasters that do occur, and enhance the ability to recover from them.
