Valerie Evans

BIO

Valerie Evans is an associate in the Dallas office of Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors.

Before joining the firm, Valerie served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia. As an AUSA, Valerie tried over 20 cases to verdict and authored 11 appellate briefs. She conducted complex grand jury investigations and secured convictions for multi-defendant conspiracies and high-profile media cases. Valerie received a Special Act Achievement Award in 2024, which is awarded to Department of Justice employees who have made exceptional contributions to the efficiency, effectiveness, and mission of DOJ operations.

Earlier in her career, Valerie represented clients at a boutique firm, with a focus on plaintiff’s representation and injury cases. Valerie began her career as an Assistant District Attorney at the King’s County District Attorney’s Office in New York, where she prosecuted and managed a caseload of over 100 violent crime and financial fraud matters from arraignment to final disposition.

Valerie received her Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2019 and her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in 2016. While in law school, Valerie served as a Notes Editor for the Brooklyn Law Review and was a research assistant for Professor Cynthia Godsoe.
