November 2, 2026 – Long before Aaron Brewer was snapping footballs on Sundays for the Miami Dolphins, he was a Dallas student with big dreams — and a community that believed in them. This weekend, the NFL standout came full circle, giving two high school students from the very program that helped shape his future a glimpse of possibilities beyond their own.
Brewer personally sponsored a weekend in Miami for two Dallas high school students participating in the Brewer Foundation's Future Leaders Program (FLP). Their experience included a behind-the-scenes tour of the Dolphins' training facility on October 31 and a trip to Hard Rock Stadium for the team's November 1 matchup against the New England Patriots.

With airfare, Dolphins jerseys, tailgate tickets, and stadium seats provided as part of the free experience, the students received a rare opportunity to see the world of professional football firsthand – courtesy of someone who once stood in their shoes.
Fittingly, Sunday's game celebrated Football UNITES, the Dolphins' initiative honoring the power of community and service. For Brewer, the message was personal: sometimes, changing a young person's world begins with showing them just how big that world can be.

Neither student dreams of playing professional football. One aspires to a career in investment banking; the other hopes to become an engineer. Both have their sights set on colleges beyond Texas — and, like Brewer before them, are discovering just how far their ambitions might take them.
“I’ll remember this for the rest of my life,” said FLP student Jeremiah Landrum. “I've watched Aaron Brewer play on TV, but I never dreamed I'd get to meet him. Being there and seeing everything up close made me realize that even the biggest dreams can become real.”
“Aaron made us feel like our futures mattered,” said FLP student Kaleb Smith. “He didn’t have to do any of this for us, but he did. Someday, I want to be the kind of person who makes someone else feel that way,” he said. “Plus, it was really fun!”
For Brewer, the weekend marked just the latest chapter in a series of giving back to the program that helped shape his early career. In May, the NFL center donated $25,000 to the Future Leaders Program in recognition of its 25th anniversary, with the Miami Dolphins contributing an additional $10,000. Now, his support has extended beyond a financial gift, connecting him personally with the next generation of students charting the course of their future.
"The skills I learned in the FLP – discipline, critical thinking, and the ability to articulate a position under pressure – are things I use every single day in the NFL and in life," said Aaron Brewer. "The program gave me the confidence to compete at the highest level, both academically and athletically. I am blessed to be in a position to give back and to invest in the next generation of leaders from Dallas."

For the Brewer Foundation, the weekend brought its mission full circle: a former student returning to inspire the next generation.
“’Paying it forward’ is what Aaron is doing for this generation.” said William A. Brewer III, chairman of the Brewer Foundation. “Aaron Brewer is not only an extraordinary athlete, but an example for our students. Here is someone who reached the highest level of his profession, using that platform to open doors for young people who are just beginning to discover the possibilities ahead,” Brewer said. “That’s powerful. That’s leadership.”
“Aaron gave these students more than a trip to Miami—he gave them a glimpse of what is possible,” said Ian Shaw, president of the Brewer Foundation. “From touring the Dolphins’ facilities to attending an NFL game, the experience was unforgettable. It is especially meaningful to see Aaron, a former FLP student, now creating opportunities for the next generation.”
