Monét Guilbeau is a communications specialist at Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors in their New York office.
Previously, she served as a PR & Media Relations Associate at Nothing Obstacle, a consultancy specializing in bespoke communications for cultural institutions, international artists, and galleries. She secured placement in top tier publications such as The New York Times, Vogue, New York Magazine, Architectural Digest, Artforum, among others.
Monét received her master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of Journalism, where she studied ethics, investigative techniques, reporting, media law, profile writing, and video production. She was also the recipient of Columbia’s 2025 Journalism Editorial Award.
In addition, she completed Columbia’s Publishing Program, an intensive course that serves as the premier training grounds for book, magazine, and digital publishing.
Monét received her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, where she graduated summa cum laude. There, she majored in English and minored in Philosophy, and was the recipient of their Pre-Law Certificate. While at Texas A&M, she served as the Director of Legacy for the Student Conference on National Affairs (SCONA) and the International Strategic Crisis Negotiation Exercise (ISCNE).
