BIO
Jordon Smith is an associate in the Dallas office of Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors.
Jordon earned his Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in 2024. While in law school, Jordon served as the Managing Editor for the SMU Science & Technology Law Review and was a member of the Board of Advocates. Jordon was an avid competitor in the interscholastic moot court competitions, where he received accolades for his written and oral advocacy—including being named champion of the American Bar Association’s National Moot Court Competition in 2024. Upon graduation, Jordon was inducted into the Order of the Barristers Honor Society for his commitment to advocacy.
Prior to joining Brewer, Jordon represented clients at Zabel Freeman in matters involving complex commercial litigation, oil and gas pipeline projects, electric distribution and transmission lines, and other energy projects. During law school, he interned with the Honorable George C. Hanks, Jr., the Honorable Ignacio Torteya, III, and the United States Attorney’s Office.
Jordon received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2020 specializing in capital markets and equities.
