Legal Research Analyst

Brewer Law Firm Seeks Legal Research Analyst

Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors is currently seeking a legal research analyst to join its in-house Investigative Unit in its Dallas office. The legal research analyst will provide support to the lawyers in the firm's Dallas and New York offices, conducting sophisticated legal and non-legal due diligence in response to firm inquiries regarding case-related matters.

Founded in 1984, the Brewer firm was formed with a singular goal: to serve clients faced with matters that involve substantial financial or business exposure, cutting-edge legal issues, or significant policy questions. Operating at the intersection of law, business, and communications, the firm utilizes multiple channels to advocate for – and advance – our clients’ interests. The firm employs professionals with expertise in finance, economics, the sciences, investigations, and crisis management.

Recognized as among the first of its kind at a major commercial litigation firm, the Investigative Unit provides the firm with comprehensive research and analysis on case-related issues. Working in coordination with the firm’s Public Affairs Group, the members of the Investigative Unit provide the firm with a strategic advantage – the ability to prepare for bet-the-business cases by utilizing an advanced and intensive level of research and case analysis.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • A background in legal process and a thorough and advanced knowledge of legal research.

  • Experience with Westlaw, Recommind/Axcelerate, PACER, SEC, public records research and various other research applications.

  • The ability to synthesize relevant information needed for high-level decision making.

  • Strong writing and time-management skills and a passion for the fact-finding process.

  • The ability to thrive working in a team atmosphere and dynamic work environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A bachelor's degree is preferred, as is prior experience at a law firm or in-house legal department.

Commercial Litigation Associate

Brewer Law Firm Seeks Associates for its Dallas Office

Brewer Attorneys & Counselors is one of the most aggressive, creative, and successful boutique litigation firms in the United States.  The Firm’s concentration in complex litigation and dispute resolution is not confined to particular substantive areas of the law, but to the litigation process itself.  As such, many of our attorneys have gained national recognition by handling cutting-edge, high-stakes cases in a wide variety of substantive legal fields. Brewer Attorneys & Counselors has proven time and again that the well-honed skills of its litigators and consultants may be universally applied to forge profitable resolutions of disputes in any area of law or any area of commercial enterprise, in this country and abroad.
